KTLF24: Automated transportation management system

Daniyar Duisemaliev, Managing Director of TIS SERVISE, spoke about cooperation with the Latvian company Sigis to develop the Railwagon Location service, which currently provides information support for transportation in 19 countries, including the former republics of the Soviet Union, as well as Finland, Mongolia and China. The company is also in the process of negotiations with the Republic of Turkey and other regions. They plan to include European countries in their network in the near future.

This product, known as an automated transportation management system (ATMS), is a multi-module platform with a proprietary architecture designed to improve the operational performance of companies in the transportation market. It combines various functionalities aimed at increasing efficiency and quality of service.

The system provides a full cycle of information support for effective transportation management. If the client is already using the Rail Wagon Location system to track wagons, automatic tracking and receipt of shipping information is integrated into this system in the territories of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus.

“We strive to ensure completeness, reliability and efficiency of information support for a unified mechanism for planning, mutual settlements and interaction with clients. This ensures reliability, efficiency and relevance of operational work, which is a key priority for our company.

Our system allows you to effectively respond to current events and correctly plan future actions. We are improving the speed of order generation, invoicing, reducing the time for servicing business processes, increasing the accuracy of order fulfillment and ensuring transparency of management processes,” noted Daniyar Duysemaliev.

The program interface provides a database of companies and contractors, and also saves the history of interactions with clients. The system includes several modules:

  • contract management module;
  • CRM system;
  • wagon tracking module;
  • tariff calculation module;
  • payment accounting module;
  • module for generating reconciliation acts and certificates;
  • invoice module and others.

The system supports the implementation of electronic digital signatures to improve security and efficiency of processes. For the convenience of users, automatic calculation of tariffs and generation of various documents, including commercial proposals, invoices and cost approval protocols are provided. The system also provides regulatory and reference information, including catalogs on the characteristics of wagons, lists of cargo and stations, as well as exchange rates.

“Although I announced only part of the functionality, it is actually very extensive. Our system offers many advantages for shippers, including wagon exchange functionality that allows you to search and rent rolling stock within a radius of up to 500 kilometers. This makes it possible to effectively plan and carry out transportation, facilitating the process of cooperation for both car owners and clients,” concluded Daniyar Duysemaliev.
