On February 24, 2025, in Beijing, the Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KTZ Nurlan Sauranbayev met with the head of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) Wang Tongzhou. The Chinese corporation, which is included in the Fortune Global 500 in 63rd position with an annual revenue of over $130 billion, is one of the largest players in the field of infrastructure construction.
The parties discussed current cooperation and promising projects, including the development of the Anaklia port, the construction of the Trans-Afghan Transport Corridor and other strategic initiatives. The focus was on expanding the logistics infrastructure and increasing the transport connectivity of the region.
Following the talks, KTZ and CCCC confirmed their readiness to further strengthen the partnership, which contributes to the development of international transport routes and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and China.
