On June 16, 2025, within the framework of the II Forum on Industrial and Investment Cooperation “China-Central Asia”, a trilateral agreement was concluded between JSC “KTZ Express”, JSC “NC “Aktau International Sea Trade Port” and the Chinese company YXE Trading Service Group. The signing took place in the presence of the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar.
The cooperation provides for the development of the terminal infrastructure of the Aktau port, including the installation of modern STS cranes that are resistant to strong winds. These measures are aimed at accelerating cargo handling and increasing the sustainability of logistics processes in a strategically important transport hub.
The memorandum was a logical continuation of the April agreements of the parties and demonstrates serious intentions to strengthen the transit potential of Kazakhstan. The agreement also confirms the commitment to the further development of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative.
