KTZ Express increased container transportation along the TITR by 303 times.

KTZ Express has recorded a sharp increase in container traffic along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). This was reported by Deputy General Director Aibek Kapar during the II International Transport Forum ESE ASIA-2025. According to him, the development of the route has become a key factor that has increased the volume of cargo transportation through Kazakhstan many times over.

According to the company, in 2024, the number of container trains on this route increased from 11 to 358 trains compared to 2023, which means a 303-fold increase. This result was made possible by the transition of part of the cargo flow from sea routes to land.

Kapar noted that the main share of transportation is made up of imports from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey. Moreover, almost 60% of the volume is accounted for by Azerbaijani imports, which were previously delivered by sea, but now pass through the TITR.
