KTZ Express has introduced an innovative service for transporting cargo in mail and baggage cars of passenger trains, accelerating logistics in the context of rapid growth of e-commerce. The first shipment took place on March 7: a 300-cubic-meter cargo was sent from Almaty-2 station to Astana-1 and arrived in just 24 hours.
The company uses specialized cars that have no analogues in the CIS, which allows for the transportation of oversized cargo at high speed. The new service operates according to the schedule of passenger trains, ensuring prompt and reliable delivery.
At the moment, the service is available on the Almaty-Astana route, but KTZ Express plans to expand its geography both within Kazakhstan and on international routes.
