During the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Ankara, business meetings of the management of JSC NC KTZ and KTZ Express with representatives of the Turkish logistics sector were held. General Director of KTZ Express Daniyar Kozhakhmetov and Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KTZ Talgat Aldybergenov discussed with the head of the international port of Mersin Ajay Kumar Singh the development of the Trans-Caspian route, expansion of port infrastructure and creation of multimodal logistics solutions in the Asia-Europe direction.
The Kazakh side expressed its readiness to ensure stable transportation volumes, proposing to more actively use the potential of the joint venture KPMC (KTZ and PSA International). The focus is on the China-Turkey (including Izmit and Kosekoy), Xi’an-Istanbul and Qingdao-Khorgos-Sergeli routes, where KTZ Express is already implementing successful projects.
On the same day, a four-party agreement on cooperation in the field of cargo transportation along the Middle Corridor was signed. The document was signed by TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş., JSC NC KTZ, Pacific Eurasia Logistics and JSC KTZ Express represented by Daniyar Kozhakhmetov. The agreement opens up new opportunities for expanding international logistics and strengthening the transit potential of Kazakhstan.
