During the period from January to July 2024, JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy loaded more than 144 million tons of cargo. Domestic transportation increased by 2%, amounting to 95.6 million tons, while exports reached 49 million tons.
The report also indicates that more than 55 million tons of coal and over five million tons of grain were loaded. Transportation of oil cargo increased by 2.5% to 10.9 million tons, ferrous metals by 7.5% to 2.6 million tons, iron and manganese ore by 7.4% to 12.4 million tons, and non-ferrous ore and sulfur raw materials by 12% to 14.3 million tons.
