Lineas has introduced the new Duisburg-Dourges rail route, offering a sustainable and reliable freight solution with three round trips per week. The new service provides fast and environmentally friendly transport between Germany and France, reducing dependence on road transport.
On the French side, the route connects Dourges with key ports and industrial centres: Fos-sur-Mer, Lyon, Marseille, Miramas, Mouguerre, Paris, Perpignan and Rennes.
On the German side, the Duisburg (DIT) rail line provides onward connections to Austria, the Czech Republic, Poland, Central Asia and China, creating an efficient corridor for international freight flows.
