LTG Infra, a company of LTG Group and responsible for the implementation of the Rail Baltica European gauge railway project in Lithuania, has opened its own Rail Baltica design division. The initiative is aimed at solving the shortage of design capacities and ensuring the timely implementation of one of the key infrastructure projects in the Baltic States, as well as further development of the European gauge network.
The new team will work according to a proven European model: part of the design work will continue to be carried out through open tenders, and part – within the company. The management of LTG Infra emphasizes that the creation of the competence center will allow accumulating experience in the design of high-speed railways, developing the professional skills of employees and ensuring rapid and sustainable progress of infrastructure projects in Lithuania.
The head of the new division, Mykolas Dumbrava, notes that the center is being created as a long-term structure, not a temporary solution. It aims to attract foreign specialists, develop knowledge and competencies that will be applied not only for Rail Baltica, but also for future infrastructure projects in Lithuania, ensuring professional growth of engineers and sustainable impact on the development of the country.
