Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd. (OOCL) proudly presents its latest addition to the fleet, the cutting-edge mega containership named “OOCL Abu Dhabi.” This marks the incorporation of the eighth eco-friendly vessel, boasting a capacity of 24,188 TEUs, as part of OOCL’s ongoing optimization of its fleet structure.
The naming ceremony, held at Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) shipyard, featured Ms. HAN Lina, Vice President of Supply Chain Management Center at Jiangsu Runergy New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., who was invited to bestow her blessings upon the newly unveiled vessel. “OOCL Abu Dhabi” is the fourth in a series of six 24,188 TEU newbuildings to be delivered to OOCL by DACKS.
