Pescara Abruzzo Airport (PSR) brought together regional leaders and industry representatives for the “Cargo Aereo in Decollo” forum, where they discussed the airport’s potential to become a key national and international cargo hub. Participants emphasized that innovation, efficient logistics, and sustainable solutions could significantly strengthen the airport’s position in the air freight system.
Regional President Marco Marsilio emphasized that developing air cargo offers strategic opportunities for Abruzzo. He emphasized that closer coordination between institutions, the private sector, and industry associations is necessary to attract investment and support local businesses. Representatives from Poste Air Cargo and other industries emphasized the importance of infrastructure modernization and comprehensive planning to meet growing demand and strengthen Italy’s supply chains.
