The automotive module of the DocPort digital platform has been launched at Yuzhny, Ukraine’s largest deepwater port. The system has previously been implemented at the ports of Izmail, Reni, Chornomorsk, and Odesa.
The module digitizes key processes: electronic vehicle permit issuance, queue management through a “metered entry” mechanism, and the processing and storage of cargo and vehicle data. This means savings for businesses—they only need to enter company, driver, and vehicle information once to operate across five ports without repeating formalities.
The platform was developed by specialists from the USPA without the involvement of third parties. The next stage of DocPort’s development is to expand the functionality of the maritime module, which is already undergoing testing at Yuzhny, and further expand the system to all seaports in Ukraine.
