Almaty hosted a meeting between the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEU) Arzybek Kozhoshev and entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as representatives of government agencies and companies. The main topic of discussion was the free movement of goods and the development of transport and logistics infrastructure within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Arzybek Kozhoshev emphasized the importance of creating a competitive and safe infrastructure for cargo transportation, noting that in order to improve the situation, businesses should more actively participate in integration processes. He noted that direct dialogue with industry representatives helps to identify problems and remove barriers to market development.
During the meeting, the key results of the EAEU’s work over 10 years were also discussed: the Union’s GDP growth by 12.2%, an increase in cooperative supplies by 2.3 times, and an increase in industrial production by 22.6%.
