According to the head of LTG Infra, Vytis Žalimas, the main challenge now is to ensure the design capacity. To this end, LTG Group is strengthening its internal competencies and attracting international specialists. Audrius Bunevičius, CEO of Tyréns Lietuva, emphasized that the company is joining forces with Swedish colleagues to work on large-scale infrastructure projects in Lithuania.

Special plans have been approved for 2024 for the Kaunas and Panevėžys junctions, as well as the section from Poland to Esia. The coordination of the Kaunas-Vilnius route is nearing completion. In 2025, tenders for the design of regional stations and depots will start, and the key stage will be the development of a project for a railway line from Kaunas to the Polish border.
