Ukraine and Estonia are expanding their partnership in the transport sector. Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for Reconstruction Oleksiy Kuleba and Minister of Infrastructure of Estonia Volodymyr Svet signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at developing joint projects and deepening cooperation in logistics.
The parties paid key attention to the restoration of port infrastructure necessary for the stable operation of businesses, cargo handling and the implementation of the “Ukrainian Corridor”. They also discussed mechanisms for protecting port facilities in wartime. In addition, the countries intend to develop partnership in rail and road transport, as well as at the international level within the framework of the International Transport Forum.
“Together with our Estonian partners, we will continue to strengthen cooperation to restore infrastructure and ensure its sustainable development. I am confident that through joint efforts we will achieve significant results,” Oleksiy Kuleba emphasized.
