The partnership cements RCG as one of the key operators at the terminal and provides stable access to the capacity of the rapidly growing logistics hub.<\/p>\n<p>The Sona terminal already offers 110,000 m\u00b2 for container and intermodal operations, and its capacity is planned to be significantly expanded by 2028. The site will become an important distribution hub with the capacity to launch up to 30 round trips per week to destinations in Southern, Northern and Eastern Europe. The terminal is already included in RCG\u2019s high-frequency TransFER service network: Verona \u2013 Vienna, Verona \u2013 Hanover and Verona \u2013 Wuppertal.<\/p>\n<p>RCG is focusing on rail transport as a sustainable alternative to road transport, reducing the burden on transhipment points, including the Brenner Pass.
