Its wide deck allows it to carry more containers compared to previous Ane M\u00e6rsk-class vessels. The new container ship will first call in Shanghai on July 7, when it will begin operations on the AE3 route connecting East Asia with Northern Europe.<\/p>\n<p>According to Maersk\u2019s head of technical fleet Ole Graa Jacobsen, the launch of the Berlin M\u00e6rsk series is a continuation of the company\u2019s sustainable strategy in the areas of decarbonization and innovation.
