Three weekly connections are now running between Austria and southern Germany, one of which has been extended to Ulm, strengthening the connection to RCG TransNET\u2019s international logistics network and improving the wagonload service for customers from various industries.<\/p>\n<p>Transportation takes place in both directions: goods from all over Austria are transported to Salzburg, where they are assembled and then sent on to Augsburg and Ulm. In Ulm, the products are delivered directly to customers\u2019 sidings or via the nearby hub in Ummendorf, which is equipped for efficient transhipment between rail and road. Here, various types of goods, in addition to containers and round timber, are handled on a 5,000 m\u00b2 area with storage and specialised handling options.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion of the route not only improves logistics between Austria and Germany, but also strengthens supply chains for companies in Central and South-Eastern Europe.
