Excluding transportation via oil pipelines, the volume of transported freight increased by 11% and amounted to 181.6 million tons.<\/p>\n<p>The main share of transportation was provided by road transport, which handled 75.9% of the total volume. Transportation by tractors increased by 14.5%, and freight turnover reached 137.9 million tons. This indicates an increasing role of road transport in the country\u2019s logistics system.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, rail transportation showed a decline \u2013 the volume of transported freight decreased by 5.8% to 25.7 million tons.
