The company posted particularly strong results in the fourth quarter: revenue increased by 6.4% to \u20ac22.7 billion and operating profit (EBIT) increased by 12.9% to \u20ac1.9 billion. However, overall EBIT for the year decreased by 7.2% to \u20ac5.9 billion, which nevertheless remains above the pre-pandemic level.<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Directors will propose a dividend of \u20ac1.85 per share at the upcoming general meeting. The share buyback program has been expanded by \u20ac2 billion and extended until 2026, reaching a total of \u20ac6 billion. The company also launched the \u201cFit for Growth\u201d initiative, which aims to reduce costs by more than \u20ac1 billion, including cutting 8,000 jobs at its German Post &amp; Parcel unit.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, DHL Group expects its operating profit to rise to more than \u20ac6 billion, with free cash flow of around \u20ac3 billion.
