The new facility will be a key point for the transshipment of Hungarian export cargo and is scheduled to be fully operational in 2028. The first stage of the work will be the construction of a seawall and the creation of a 250-meter-long berthing line, which will later be extended by another 400 meters.<\/p>\n<p>The project will cover an area of \u200b\u200b30 hectares, where a modern logistics center with infrastructure for port operations will be built. This will strengthen Hungary\u2019s transport links and improve the efficiency of cargo transportation across the Adriatic.<\/p>\n<p>The terminal will be operated by Adria Port, a company wholly owned by the Hungarian state.
