The event was attended by representatives of more than 20 countries, including Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, EU countries, as well as international organizations and businesses. The main topics of discussion were transport policy, economic cooperation and sustainable development of the industry.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/1_2a83a49a29.jpg\" alt=\"The 87th session of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee was held in Geneva.\" class=\"wp-image-11027\" title=\"Intermodal The 87th session of the UNECE Inland Transport Committee was held in Geneva.\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">TRACECA<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The high-level segment \u201cAchievements and challenges of inland transport on the way to 2030\u201d included two ministerial discussions: the Netherlands presented initiatives on climate action, and Turkey \u2013 on transport connectivity. Participants discussed road safety, the integration of environmentally friendly solutions and the modernization of infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to the development of transport corridors between Europe, the Caucasus and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary General of the PS MC TRACECA, Asset Asavbayev, noted that the organization is developing a strategy for 2027\u20132036, calling for joint work to eliminate bottlenecks and infrastructure problems.
