It connects the ro-ro terminal in Trieste with the Malpensa intermodal terminal in Sacconago, near Milan. The aim is to create a new sea and land bridge between Turkey and Milan, one of Italy\u2019s major industrial centres.<\/p>\n<p>The train will carry containers, tanks, swap bodies and semi-trailers. In the first phase, two services per week are planned, with a gradual increase in frequency.
