Around 90 new jobs will be created as a result. On 14 October, a symbolic groundbreaking ceremony was held, during which two facilities were presented: a 6,500 m\u00b2 terminal with 76 loading gates and a 6,770 m\u00b2 warehouse with space for 17,000 pallets.<\/p>\n<p>The construction project is being implemented by developer VIB Verm\u00f6gen AG, which will lease the complex to DACHSER on a long-term basis. The new 50,800 m\u00b2 facility will be located next to the A9 motorway connecting Munich and Nuremberg. Parking spaces for trucks and light commercial vehicles are also planned.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1160\" height=\"653\" src=\"https:\/\/gruzingeo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/spatenstich-ingolstadt_mediaroom_rdax_65s-1160x653-1.jpg\" alt=\"DACHSER to build a new logistics centre.\" class=\"wp-image-8440\" title=\"Road DACHSER to build a new logistics centre.\"><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">DACHSER\u00a0<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Environmental standards were taken into account during the construction of the facility: it is planned to install a green roof and facade, switch to electric mobility and obtain the Gold Certificate of the German Green Building Council (DGNB).
