This project is strategically important for the European railway network, improving connections between the Baltic States, Finland and Central Europe. Rail Baltica will be a key element of the north-south transport corridor, promoting economic integration and increasing mobility.<\/p>\n<p>The tender includes two contracts:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The first for \u20ac394 million covers the construction of the track infrastructure between \u00dclemiste and P\u00e4rnu,<\/li>\n<li>the second for \u20ac332 million covers the design and construction of the P\u00e4rnu-Ikla section.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The development and construction phases are expected to last from 2025 to 2030.<\/p>\n<p>Rail Baltica is designed to fundamentally change the transport system of the Baltics, opening up new trade routes and improving the movement of goods and passengers.
