Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Shavkat Mirziyoyev also discussed preparations for the sixth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia and prospects for cooperation in C5+ formats.<\/p>\n<p>As part of strengthening cooperation in the region, the leaders of both countries expressed support for initiatives to create a Joint Venture between the railway administrations of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This enterprise will contribute to increasing trade between countries and the development of the Trans-Afghan route, providing favorable conditions for cargo transportation along the China-Kazakhstan-Uzbekistan route.<\/p>\n<p>This project will also allow increasing the volume of goods transportation and creating favorable conditions for the development of cargo transportation in the southern direction.<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan discussed issues of stability and security in the Central Asian region during their recent talks.
