The delegation was warmly received by Monica Ye, Director and Senior Director of Operations, Chency Shi, Director of the Group\u2019s Key Account Centre, Misha Cai, Head of the Group\u2019s Project Logistics Department, and relevant team leaders, at the behest of Bonnie Zhu, Chairman and General Manager of Neptune Logistics Group.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, Monica Ye extended a warm welcome to Deputy Governor Nurmatov and provided an overview of Neptune Logistics Group\u2019s key business segments and recent development. She expressed the group\u2019s intention to enhance infrastructure construction in Uzbekistan, seeking friendly assistance from the U.S. side. Nurmatov highlighted Jizak Oblast\u2019s strategic location in the geographical center of Uzbekistan, boasting robust transportation infrastructure and having successfully attracted cooperation from major Chinese enterprises like BYD, Huawei, and Huaxin Cement.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions delved into the \u201csoft connection\u201d of commodity logistics and the \u201chard connection\u201d of transport infrastructure between China and Uzbekistan. The Ukrainian delegation invited Neptune Logistics Group to visit Jizak State for further exploration and discussions. With China being Uzbekistan\u2019s major trade and investment partner, the two countries, propelled by the \u201cOne Belt, One Road\u201d initiative, have significantly elevated economic and trade cooperation, with China\u2019s cumulative investment in Uzbekistan expected to surpass US$10 billion from 2017 to 2022.
