This partnership highlights Lineas\u2019 active role in promoting modal shift and ensuring the uninterrupted operation of rail transport in the Li\u00e8ge region. The contract is set for one year, with the option for annual extensions over a three-year period. The contract includes various options necessary for the seamless functioning of rail transport in the South-East region.<\/p>\n<p>These options encompass:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work trains for infrastructure projects on catenaries and tracks,<\/li>\n<li>Sandite trains for applying anti-slip gel to break up smooth layers of compressed leaves on rails,<\/li>\n<li>Anti-frost trains for spraying anti-frost products on catenaries.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lineas will provide locomotives, train drivers, and personnel for both in-service and out-of-service tracks for each of these operations. The expertise of Lineas\u2019 WorkTrainDrivers team will ensure the efficient and uninterrupted execution of these crucial infrastructure tasks.<\/p>\n<p>By participating in this project to support rail infrastructure operations, Lineas continues to contribute to the development of rail transport, promoting environmental sustainability and easing road congestion.<\/p>\n<p>Bernard Gustin, CEO of Lineas, expressed the company\u2019s honor in being chosen again as Infrabel\u2019s partner for critical rail infrastructure works in Li\u00e8ge.
