Construction of the new terminal responds to the growing needs of the regional logistics sector and will improve the flow of goods through the strategic corridor connecting the European Union with Ukraine. The project will be implemented on a \u2018design and build\u2019 basis.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cSigning this agreement is another step towards implementing our strategy for developing intermodal infrastructure in Poland. The Zabrze terminal will be one of the most modern facilities in the region, enabling the handling of the growing volume of transport between the EU and Ukraine. Thanks to the support of the National Reconstruction Plan, this investment will boost the competitiveness of Polish logistics on the European market,\u201d said <strong>Agnieszka Hip\u015b<\/strong>, President of the Management Board of CLIP Group.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Boost for Upper Silesia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The investment will bring economic benefits to the entire region. A large number of jobs will be created during the construction phase, and the subsequent operation of the facility will provide permanent employment. The terminal will also increase the attractiveness of Upper Silesia as a logistics centre, supporting the development of local companies and attracting foreign investors.
