The project is part of a broader program to develop the region\u2019s transport infrastructure and aims to strengthen Bulgaria\u2019s logistics potential.<\/p>\n<p>A modern intermodal rail terminal with covered platforms and seven tracks is planned for Ruse. The project also includes the restoration of rail service across the Danube Bridge and the construction of a new access route connecting the terminal with the city\u2019s Northern Industrial Zone. The total project cost is estimated at approximately \u20ac60 million.<\/p>\n<p>The future terminal will include administrative buildings, a cargo handling area, a customs checkpoint, warehouses, and parking areas, and will be designed to handle intermodal transport using rail and road transport.
