Revenue declined by 1.6% to \u20ac82.9 billion, partly due to currency fluctuations and lower freight volumes on US routes. Thanks to active capacity management and structural cost-cutting measures, operating profit (EBIT) increased by 3.7% to \u20ac6.1 billion, exceeding the forecast of at least \u20ac6 billion. Profitability also improved: the EBIT margin increased to 7.4%, 0.4 percentage points higher than the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>Free cash flow (excluding M&amp;A) increased by 8.3% to \u20ac3.2 billion, exceeding the forecast of approximately \u20ac3 billion. Net profit attributable to shareholders of Deutsche Post AG increased by 5.1% to \u20ac3.5 billion. Basic earnings per share increased by 8.1% to \u20ac3.09, compared to \u20ac2.86 a year earlier. In 2025, DHL also adapted its investment program to the volatile dynamics of global trade, continuing to invest in regions with high growth potential, including India, China, and Colombia. Capital investments in own assets amounted to \u20ac3 billion, a decrease of 3.8% compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n<p>The company continued to implement its Strategy 2030 Accelerating Sustainable Growth strategy, which includes development in four areas: employer appeal, leadership in logistics services, investment attractiveness, and green logistics. Employee satisfaction reached 82%, the share of sustainable aviation fuel in its own fleet increased to 10%, and the fleet of electric delivery vehicles increased to approximately 45,400 units.
