The main topic of the discussions was the investment project to build a modern agro-logistics hub in Kokshetau, which is being implemented as part of a strategic partnership between Kedentransservice and the Chinese state-owned holding company SPSI Cloud Port Development.<\/p>\n<p>The project envisions the creation of a logistics complex covering approximately 40 hectares with a throughput capacity of over 1 million tons of cargo per year. The initiative includes the development of container, rail, and warehouse infrastructure, which will improve logistics efficiency for the agro-industrial complex in Kazakhstan\u2019s northern regions. The new terminal will provide storage for agricultural products, consolidate cargo shipments, and form container trains for shipment to foreign markets.<\/p>\n<p>Meeting participants also discussed prospects for expanding logistics cooperation with Sichuan Province and the city of Chengdu, one of the largest economic centers in western China. The possibility of creating a logistics hub to strengthen export routes between Kazakhstan and the western regions of China is being considered.
