Meyer\u2019s Sohn (FMS) announced the acquisition of Oslo-based Norwegian logistics provider Front Shipping AS. The deal is part of FMS\u2019s strategy to expand in the Nordic countries and strengthen its project logistics capabilities. Following the acquisition of the Swedish company in 2024, the integration of Front Shipping is the next step in creating a unified platform in Scandinavia with offices in Sweden and Norway.<\/p>\n<p>Front Shipping is known in the Norwegian market for its project logistics and container shipping solutions. Combining Front Shipping\u2019s regional expertise with FMS\u2019s global network, spanning over 35 countries, will enable the company to more effectively support clients in the implementation of complex international projects. The Oslo office will continue to be managed by the existing team, ensuring uninterrupted service to clients and partners.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cScandinavia is a strategically important region for us, both in terms of industrial development and international trade flows,\u201d noted FMS Managing Director <strong>Heiko Voigt<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>According to Front Shipping CEO Jarle Aakredalen, the integration with FMS opens up new opportunities for customers and employees, combining regional expertise with global logistics resources.
