The document lays the foundation for further cooperation on projects to construct and modernize port infrastructure, implement digital solutions, and implement sustainable development initiatives, including renewable energy, waste management, and emission reduction.<\/p>\n<p>AD Ports Group CEO Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi noted that the agreement opens the door to dialogue on one of the key ports in the Black Sea region and will allow the company to explore ways to strengthen its presence in the Middle Corridor, as well as support the development of trade connectivity and sustainable economic growth in cooperation with its Romanian partners.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the Port of Constanta handled approximately 88 million tons of cargo and approximately 1 million TEU containers, providing a vital link between maritime routes and European inland waterways. The agreement fits into AD Ports Group\u2019s strategy to develop the China-Europe Middle Corridor via Central Asia, which has seen the company implement a number of projects in recent years, including a joint venture with KTZ Express, the launch of a logistics hub in Tbilisi, the development of a grain terminal at the port of Kuryk, and an expansion of its presence in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea.<\/p>\n<\/section>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AD Ports Group signed a framework agreement with National Company Maritime Ports Administration SA to explore investment opportunities and develop the Port of Constanta in Romania.
