During the talks, the parties focused on the restoration of Ukraine\u2019s road, maritime, aviation, and railway infrastructure, as well as the country\u2019s needs within the framework of the Infrastructure Taskforce and the potential implementation of specific infrastructure projects.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, the discussion addressed the UK\u2019s participation in the Ukraine Transport Support Fund, which the country joined in early 2026 by signing the relevant declaration. The conversation also covered expanding cooperation with UK Export Finance regarding the financing of transport restoration projects, including the maritime and aviation sectors. Priorities identified included fleet modernization, the development of port infrastructure, the implementation of digital and security solutions, and the development of PPP mechanisms within ports. Additionally, issues concerning Ukraine\u2019s aviation industry and regional transport planning were touched upon.<\/p>\n<p>The parties also discussed potential cooperation with British Steel.
