MEDLOG said the route is intended to support cargo evacuation from the Jamnagar plant and reduce reliance on long-haul trucking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The launch comes as Indian logistics operators face higher diesel costs and limited truck driver availability. According to MEDLOG India\u2019s integrated logistics management, the shift from road to rail is aimed at providing a more reliable and cost-efficient supply chain for the customer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mundra Port serves as a major container gateway for western India.
