Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC Nurlan Zhakupov signed an agreement on joint management of the investment fund with the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan Mikail Jabbarov. The signing ceremony was attended by the presidents of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.
The signed document constitutes a shareholder agreement establishing the basic conditions for the management of the joint fund “SK-AIH Investment Fund Ltd.”. This fund will be aimed at attracting investment in various sectors of the economy of both countries.
The activities of the Kazakh-Azerbaijani investment fund will include the implementation of projects that contribute to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). This cooperation opens up new opportunities for economic growth and strengthening of transport infrastructure in the region.
