Kazakhstan and Georgia are strengthening cooperation in the field of transit corridors.

Kazakhstan’s Vice Minister of Transport, Maksat Kaliakparov, met with Georgia’s First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, Vakhushti Bagrationi, and Georgia’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Levan Diasamidze. The talks focused on strengthening cooperation in the transport sector.

The parties discussed the development of transit routes, infrastructure modernization, and the exchange of experience between relevant agencies. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of the Middle Corridor as a key link between Europe and Asia.

Kaliakparov confirmed Kazakhstan’s interest in deepening cooperation, while Bagrationi noted Kazakhstan’s strategic role in transit projects. Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to jointly implement promising initiatives.
