Kazakhstan and Pakistan are discussing prospects for cooperation in the transport and logistics sector. The meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Erzhan Kistafin with the Federal Minister of Communications, Privatization and Investment Board of Pakistan Abdul Alim Khan was devoted to discussing the transit opportunities of Pakistan and the main corridors along which cargo transportation from Kazakhstan through the sea ports of Pakistan is carried out.
During the meeting, Yerzhan Kistafin invited the Pakistani side to take part in the first North-South transport, trade and logistics forum. Abdul Alim Khan supported the development and development of transport and logistics routes, which, in his opinion, contributes to the development of bilateral and regional trade, as well as the opening of new areas of mutually beneficial cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Abdul Alim Khan invited the Kazakh delegation to Pakistan to hold consultations with the transport infrastructure, including the seaports of Karachi and Gwadar.
