The European Union plays an important role in supporting logistics and infrastructure, which contributes to the creation of a more interconnected economy in Central Asia. At the meeting, Lastayev noted the importance of Kazakhstan’s partnership with the EU, emphasizing that it is built on common goals – strengthening ties and sustainable development.

One of the significant steps in this direction was the creation of the Coordination Platform for the Development of the Trans-Caspian Corridor, launched in June. This project is aimed at improving transport links between Europe and Asia, as well as more efficient logistics. In September, at an online seminar with the participation of representatives of the EU, Kazakhstan and international financial organizations, further prospects for the development of key transport projects were discussed.
