Kazakhstan has shown interest in using the Aqaba port in Jordan to supply its goods to the local market and the markets of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). In 2023, trade turnover between the countries increased by 4.2 times, reaching $6 million, which confirms the potential for further growth.

Jordan expressed its readiness to import Kazakh grain using alternative routes, including the Caspian Sea. Kazakhstan, in turn, intends to increase the export of non-commodity goods in 15 key positions, including wheat and other agricultural products.

To strengthen trade ties, the parties agreed to intensify direct business interaction, including the organization of trade and economic missions. In addition, it was proposed to hold a meeting of the Kazakh-Jordanian Business Council in Astana next year.
