Kazakhstan Temir Zholy discussed the growth of transportation and new projects with the largest shippers.

JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy held a meeting with the participation of the country’s leading industrial companies, including Bogatyr Komir, ERG, Zhairemsky GOK, Shubarkol Komir, Qarmet, Kazphosphate and other partners. The participants summed up the work results for the first half of 2025 and discussed future plans.

According to KTZ, transportation showed growth both in exports and within the country. On foreign markets, coal supplies increased by 1.9 million tons, grain – by 2 million tons, fertilizers – by 105 thousand tons, oil – by 67 thousand tons. Within the republic, the volumes of transportation of oil products (+685 thousand tons), construction cargo (+496 thousand tons), grain (+540 thousand tons) and other categories increased.

The key issue of the meeting was the implementation of a pilot project for verification of GU-12 form applications in the DKR ACS system, which began on June 20. Its implementation will improve the transparency and efficiency of the use of the rolling stock. The company also presented plans for large-scale infrastructure work, including the construction of additional tracks, the introduction of automatic blocking and repair programs, confirming its intention to continue close cooperation with shippers.
