JSC Kedentransservice (Kazakhstan), JSC UztemirYulKonteyner (Uzbekistan) and OJSC TLCT (Turkmenistan) organized the transportation of 12 twenty-foot containers with ceramic tiles from the Indian port of Mundra to Astana. The cargo will pass through Iran, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and the final station will be Sorokova.

The total length of the route is 5,885 kilometers, of which 1,585 km are by sea and 4,300 km by rail. The expected delivery time is 25-30 days, depending on the workload of the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas.

The transportation is organized as part of the development of the eastern route of the international transport corridor “North-South”. This project allows optimizing the timing and costs of logistics, creating new opportunities for exporters and importers.
