Kazakhstan’s terminals have been included in the UNESCAP list of dry ports.

At the 6th meeting of the UNESCAP Working Group on Dry Ports, held in Bangkok, a key decision was made for the development of Kazakhstan’s logistics. International experts recognized the infrastructural significance of the Dostyk Trans Terminal and the GLOBAL CITY trade and logistics complex.

Both facilities have been officially included in the list of dry ports under the UNESCAP Intergovernmental Agreement on Dry Ports. This strengthens Kazakhstan’s presence on global infrastructure maps and recognizes the country’s contribution to the development of international transport corridors.

This status opens up new opportunities for expanding transit routes, attracting cargo traffic, and enhancing Kazakhstan’s role as a key link between Europe and Asia.
