A working meeting between Kedentransservice JSC and the Fininvest transport and logistics group of companies was held in Astana. The key issue was the creation of a modern transport and logistics complex (TLC) in the capital. The project is aimed at creating a powerful hub for processing, storing and distributing container cargo, which will strengthen the role of Kazakhstan as a transit bridge between Europe and Asia.
The parties also discussed the development of international routes and the introduction of innovative solutions in multimodal transportation. As a successful example, the meeting participants noted the pilot dispatch of a container train in gondola cars along the Russia-Kazakhstan-China route, which took place in May. The train covered the territory of Kazakhstan in just three days, demonstrating the effectiveness of the new logistics format.
The partnership between Kedentransservice and Fininvest is aimed at implementing strategic projects that can significantly increase the transport attractiveness of Kazakhstan in the international arena.
