KTZ Express held talks with China Merchants Port Holdings Company Limited (CMPort), the largest port operator in China, and Sinotrans Limited, the leading international logistics operator of the China Merchants Group. The meeting discussed the development of the terminal network and new areas of cooperation in the field of multimodal transportation.
KTZ Express CEO D.M. Kozhakhmetov presented projects to expand the terminal infrastructure in Kazakhstan and abroad, as well as initiatives to increase the country’s transit potential. Particular attention was paid to the integration of IT systems and the creation of conditions for more efficient management of cargo flows.
The partners from CMPort and Sinotrans positively assessed the prospects of the proposed solutions and expressed their readiness to jointly implement the projects. The parties confirmed their intention to develop strategic cooperation to form effective international routes and strengthen Kazakhstan’s position as a key transit hub in Eurasia.
