Starting October 2, 2025, Latam Cargo Group will launch a direct cargo service between Brussels and São José dos Campos (SJK, Brazil). Initially, flights will operate once a week, increasing to twice a week during the winter. The new service will reduce delivery times and transportation costs for European customers.
Until now, cargo for SJK was delivered by air to São Paulo and then transshipped onto trucks. Now, Latam Cargo offers a more convenient solution for the region, which is an important industrial hub in southeastern Brazil. The company plans to transport approximately 50 tons of cargo weekly, including industrial goods, auto parts, and consumer goods.
“São José dos Campos is a key industrial hub, and our goal is to provide our customers with more flexible and competitive logistics solutions,” noted Matias Cortina, Latam Cargo’s Director of Cargo Operations in Europe.
The new route complements the freight service from Miami, which opened in 2023, strengthening the city’s role in the international logistics network.
