Latam Cargo Group’s cargo division is ramping up capacity between South America and Europe this winter, increasing the number of weekly flights in each direction from 12 to 15. The additional services will be operated from October using Boeing 767F aircraft.
The company expects the expansion to improve delivery times, expand the geography of routes and increase flexibility through key hubs in Sao Paulo, Santiago and Lima. The new frequencies will also strengthen the industry’s cargo corridors to Montevideo, Buenos Aires and Florianopolis.
On the European side, the updated schedule includes three departures per day, five times per week. Latam Cargo currently has a 23% market share in cargo transportation between Europe and South America.
