The air cargo division of the MSC Group, MSC Air Cargo, has become a new member of the German association Barig (Board of Airline Representatives in Germany), which unites leading players in the aviation market. The company operates flights using Boeing 777-200 freighters between Europe, Asia and America.
MSC Air Cargo CEO Janni Davel noted that Germany is a strategically important market for the company, and participation in Barig will allow it to be more actively involved in the development of the German air cargo sector. With the entry of MSC, the association now unites more than 30 international cargo airlines.
According to Michael Hoppe, CEO of Barig, the participants intend to jointly address key issues in the industry, including high costs and complex operational processes. The updated Barig air cargo committee will focus on coordinating initiatives and promoting improvements in the industry.
