On February 16, Yerlan Khamardinovich Koyshibayev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, introduced Yerlan Talgatuly Nykhmetov, the new General Director, to the staff of Kuryk Port LLP. The appointment is part of efforts to strengthen the management team and further develop the transport hub’s maritime infrastructure.
The new CEO has extensive experience in the maritime industry and is well-versed in the specifics of the shipping market and port operations. Over the years, he has held senior positions in maritime shipping and infrastructure projects, establishing himself as an effective manager. A significant part of his career was spent at NMSC Kazmortransflot LLP, where he participated in the implementation of strategic initiatives and the development of the company’s fleet.
Nykhmetov has been tasked with further developing Kuryk Port, strengthening its market position, and improving the efficiency of its business processes. Priorities include expanding transit potential, optimizing operational activities, and implementing new infrastructure projects.
